I’m Charlotte, I’m 50, I’m perimenopausal.

Feels good to say it out loud, doesn't it?

But before I talk about me — HOW ARE YOU?

WHAT ARE YOU STRUGGLING WITH? NIGHT SWEATS? WEIGHT GAIN? BRAIN FOG? ANXIETY? MOOD SWINGS?

I started perimenopause at 39 with palpitations, night sweats, a complete loss of temper control, fatigue beyond anything I had ever known, bloating, falling libido and sports incontinence — and it never once crossed my mind that it was perimenopause. I was only 39. I had absolutely no idea what was happening to me or why.

Three years later, after a confusing and pretty lonely time, I decided to do something about it. I qualified as a PT, then as a nutritionist and then as a holistic menopause coach and practitioner. And I am proud to say I now have my perimenopause under control — because I understand it.

That is exactly where I start with you. Not with a plan, not with a list of things to cut out, but with understanding. Because when you understand why you feel the way you feel, everything else becomes possible.
